Harleen Deol is an Indian cricket player. She was born on June 21, 1998. She is on the team for Himachal Pradesh. She hits hard with her right hand and sometimes throws right-arm leg spin.

Harleen played her first Women’s One-Day International (WODI) match for India on February 22, 2019, at Wankhede in Mumbai. It was against England.

After Taniya Bhatia, she was the second woman from Chandigarh to play cricket for India.

She finished school at Yadavindra Public School in Mohali. On March 4, 2019, she played her first Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) game against England.

Harleen played her first Women’s T20 Challenge game for Trailblazers on May 6, 2019, against Supernovas. She and Smriti Mandhana helped make a 100-run partnership.

She was put on India’s team for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia in January 2020.

In July 2021, Deol went viral after he caught a ball with his hands while avoiding the boundary rope during a Twenty20 match against England. Sachin Tendulkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both praised her for the catch.

Harleen Deol played cricket for the Punjab team for the first time in India. But later, when her father was transferred to HP, she had to move there. She tried out for the Himachal Pradesh team again and was chosen. Harleen Deol first played for the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association when she was 13 years old.

Harleen Deol played her first T20 game for the HP team in 2013. Later that year, she played U-19 cricket for the North Zone.

Harleen Deol played her first ODI match for an international team against England. She played for trailblazers in the IPL for the first time that same year. She was even picked to play in the T20 World Cup for women in 2020.

Harleen Deol is an Indian woman who plays cricket. In shorter versions of the game, she plays for the Women Indian Team. She bats with her right hand and can bowl leg-spin when needed. She plays cricket at home for the Himachal Pradesh team.

Harleen’s career began when she was 11 and played for Punjab. Her coach at the time was RP Singh. It was when she made a big change in how she bowled. “At first, I was an off-spinner. It was a North Zone tournament, and after 10–15 days, we had our nationals. Harleen says, “But we didn’t have a leg spinner.”

“I was practicing the leg-spin as a different move, and I was doing it well. Then, our coach Prakash sir told me to do more leg-spin. Then I turned into a leggie,” Harleen Deol said.

Harleen has grown into a player who can do everything for India and India A. This didn’t happen by accident; she had the skills to do both well. But she didn’t get to bat very often, so she didn’t have many chances to show off her skills.

When asked about this, she says, “I batted last for Punjab, so I didn’t have much to prove.” When my team was 22/4 in a game against Hyderabad, I pushed it to 100 and got a chance to open. In the next game, she got a score of 49, and that’s when she became an opener.

Harleen’s life is like that of an athlete. It starts at 5:30 in the morning, and then there are three hours of practice in the morning. When asked how she did this while in school, she says it was hard. “I had to leave at 9, and I got out of school at 3. I had to be at the ground by 4.

Then we had sessions until 7.30 or 8.” She also says, “Coming home from school and going to the ground was better than going to school.” “That was hard,” she said with a smile.

Harleen is a happy person when she’s not on the field. She is very humble, even though she has already played for India even though she is still in school.

Her favorite food dishes are her mom-made “Ghar ka khana”. She likes to watch movies for fun, and she says that Ranveer Singh is her favorite actor.
