Jason Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S. He is an American TV and movie actor and producer who became well-known in the 2000s for playing warriors, fighters, and other violent characters. Momoa is best known for having long hair and a strong body. His most well-known roles were as the Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo on the TV show Game of Thrones (2011–19) and as Aquaman (2018).

Momoa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a painter named Joseph Momoa and a photographer named Coni Lemke. His parents got a divorce six months after he was born, and he moved with his mother to Norwalk, Iowa, where he went to elementary and high school. Because he was interested in biology, he went to a community college in Des Moines, Iowa, and then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where he worked as a waiter. He later moved back to Hawaii to be near his father and enrolled in the marine biology program at the University of Hawaii. Takeo Kobayashi, an American who was born in Japan and works as an international fashion designer, found Momoa when he was 19 and encouraged him to become a model.
