Authorities reported that in 2021, a woman and child were walking through Venice when they were struck by a car. A teen was shot and murdered nearby Palmdale shortly after this occurrence.
hit-and-run driver Kristopher Baca
Kristopher Baca, 17, was being pursued by a red car as he made his way to the 38000 block of 11th Street East to visit his grandmother. This happened on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., according to detective Ray Lugo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Lugo claimed that Baca was shot several times and passed away there. Several rounds were also fired at him from inside the automobile.
In August 2021, an automobile accident involving a stroller took place close to Galleon and Speedway streets. The mom was seen pushing her child in a stroller when a car was seen rushing at them. The woman and her child were thrown over the hood of the stolen automobile after colliding head-on, according to law enforcement officials. The vehicle then accelerated and took off.
In a case involving a woman and child, Baca was defended by Los Angeles County District Attorney Gascón. After hitting the woman’s car, the 16-year-old admitted guilt to felony counts of hit-and-run and assault, according to KTTV Channel 11. Both people survived the collision, and Gascón afterwards issued a statement in which he criticized the mother for her outspoken criticism of him.
According to an unnamed law enforcement officer, Baca served his sentence in Camp Glenn Rockey in San Dimas. They withheld all other details of the case, including the date of his release. Baca stayed at the camp until October 2018, when he was punished for getting into a fight, a second source confirmed.
