William and Zachary Zulock pressured their children into illicit connections with older males.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the couple not only sexually abused their adopted boys but also documented several incidents of abuse, pushing them to participate in improper interactions with other adult males. The youngsters, a sibling pair, were said to be in third and fourth grades at the time of the assault. According to the Antigua Newsroom, William and Zachary Zulock were well-to-do businessmen. While William Zulock, 33, worked for the government, Zachary Zulock, 35, worked in banking. According to the New York Post, they seemed to be a typical couple on all fronts, with Zachary’s Instagram describing him as a “activist” and “Papa to our two amazing sons.”
The pair were arrested when the Walton County Sheriff’s Office received accusations that someone in Oxford was downloading illegal films of child abuse. While investigating the accusations, authorities discovered that the film being downloaded was allegedly made by William and Zachary Zulock.
A Walton County Sheriff’s Office representative stated in an official statement:
“A small team was focused to going straight to the children to guarantee their safety, while another team worked with the adults in the house to secure the situation.”
The statement went on to say:
“Evidence that both adult males — the adoptive dads of the sibling pair staying in the residence — were participating in s*xually abusive actions and film capturing this abuse was discovered during the execution of the search warrant.”
William and Zachary Zulock were accused of creating the illicit movies and disseminating them to a number of others. They allegedly sent the video to Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, both of whom are accused of being part of a child abuse network.
Hunter Clay Lawless said that, although he never actively assaulted the children, Zachary Zulock would encourage him to witness the abuse while also providing his images on a regular basis. It is unknown if Hunter Clay Lawless and Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez were directly involved in the crime. Meauwww stated that the Zulocks adopted the boys through a Christian special-needs organization. According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the County School District was critical in identifying the child victims and cooperating with the investigation.
